1. What is "Olly's Personal Development"?
"Olly's Personal Development" is a blog dedicated to giving you advice on the attitudes and beliefs necessary for you to achieve your life goals, plus give you the knowledge and skills you need to make all your dreams come true!
2. How does Personal Development differ from Life Coaching?
On this blog, there is very little difference between the two - as a Certified Life Coach, what I offer on this website is the information you would get from me if you hired me as your personal Life Coach. However, the information here does not comprise a coaching relationship between you and me and it lacks the personal touch and the tailoring of the information to your unique life circumstances that would come with such a relationship. By necessity, all information here is general and will work for most people most of the time but if you have specific issues that need to be addressed, please approach a qualified professional local to you. The information on this blog does not constitute a professional coach-client relationship between you and me.
3. What about the Law of Attraction, "The Secret" and manifesting, etc.?
Other blogs on the topic of Personal Development tend to focus on some New Age beliefs, such as "manifesting", the "Law of Attraction", "aligning your soul's purpose", "asking the Universe" and other such topics. While some aspects of these beliefs are useful to achieving life goals, as a Roman Catholic, I consider a strict belief in these things is unhealthy and often a waste of time. I think a stronger focus on positive psychology and an underlying belief that our lives have purpose and that we were put here for a reason is more healthy and down-to-earth. I believe our life purpose will reveal itself when we start to believe that we are worthy and valuable people who have something to give to the world. That something will fulfill all our desires and develop us to become the best we can be. THAT is our dream life.

4. How do I buy your products?
Just click on the link that corresponds to the items you want to buy and it will take you to either the vendor's website (for products I promote made by other people) or the websites where my own products are for sale (usually Amazon or Gumroad). Those websites will give you details on how to complete your purchase.
5. What's in it for you? Why are you doing this?
Every time you click on a link, I get a commission on the products you buy. You should assume that all products on this blog are either created by me or another vendor. The vendors' products appear as a result of a relationship between myself and the vendor. I am doing this because I wish to raise money to open an afterschool activity centre for Vietnamese teens (I live and work in Vietnam) and also to take care of my wife, who has stage IIIB lung cancer and I want to make sure I can pay for her treatment.
6. What if I want to return goods or I'm not happy with my purchase?
You should contact the vendor directly with your complaint and their customer service staff will be happy to process your request, subject to their terms and conditions. For my products, you can use Amazon's usual policies on refunds and returns.
7. Do you offer refunds?
You are purchasing directly from the vendor, so any refund policy belongs to the vendor. Please read their website carefully for the exact terms of any refund policy. Refunds on my products follow Amazon's refund policy.
8. Are my credit card details safe?
For my products, both Amazon and Gumroad are very reputable and well-known suppliers with a high level of public confidence in their ability to provide encryption software for online financial transactions. For the vendors I promote, their products are handled by ClickBank, which also has an excellent online reputation for safe handling of credit card details and other sensitive information.
9. Can I use PayPal?
The use of PayPal to make purchases is subject to the terms and conditions of service of the individual vendors or Amazon policy.
10. Where are your terms and conditions of service and privacy policy?
This is a blog site, so there aren't any. "Olly's Personal Development" is meant to give you advice and offer you the chance to purchase my own products and those of others who, in my considered opinion, offer products that can rapidly transform your life and allow you to achieve your life goals. To access such products, you click through using a special link. There is no need for you to give "Olly's Personal Development" any personally-identifiable information or buy anything directly from the blog. It is recommended, however, that you familiarize yourself with the terms and conditions of service and privacy policies of Amazon, Gumroad and individual vendors, which can be found on their websites.
